The name was chosen because it holds what the project is: soft but powerful, feminine but structured, quiet but present.
For too long, menopause has been taboo, under-studied, and misunderstood. Women have crossed this transition in silence, often alone, without the resources that could have changed the experience.
AWENE exists to transform silence into a space of recognition, information, support, and power.
